About the production

Family Guy meets Back to the Future.

The story

William and Pauline chose to adopt when everything else failed. Determined to be the best dad on the planet, William built a time machine called Cubey. While other kids go to theme parks, his are off to 1066 to find out how King Harold really died.

And since the children were acquired by time-travel means, nobody, least of all social services, knows that Ben and Nubia are adopted.

The family

William. Patriotic inventor and stickler for the rules, who is secretly a softie desperate to be the cool dad.

Pauline. Enjoys her children some of the time, the way you might enjoy a tortoise. Far more interested in breaking wind and breaking rules.

Ben, 13. Beyond embarrassment. Nubia, 15. Mortified by her mum, horrified by history, and in possession of long-forgotten kick-ass fighting skills.

And Satan, who plans to steal the time machine, enslave the human race and make it compulsory to watch every episode of The Real Housewives.

The tone

A sci-fi comedy that will destroy everything you thought you knew about history.
